The Chaffee Arts Open Awards Show and Reception is tonight from 5pm to 7pm at the Buena Vista Heritage Museum. Local artists will have artwork for sale. Admission is free. The show continues tomorrow and Sunday from 11am to 4pm both days.
Tonight’s Friday at the Farm concert features Annette and Doug Conlon performing at Turner Farm from 6pm to 8pm. Admission is by donation.
Pack the Park: A Carnival to End Hunger is tomorrow from noon to 6pm at Cutty’s Hayden Creek Resort in Coaldale. The day features family-friendly carnival games, live music, food vendors and a local market of handmade goods. Proceeds benefit the Grainery Ministries Food Pantry. A day pass is $5 for kids, $10 for adults.
The 5th annual Elizabeth Anne’s Haven fundraising dinner is tomorrow night from 5pm to 8pm at Silver Cliff Ranch in Nathrop. Tickets are $70 at https://www.eahaven.org/ The mission of Elizabeth Anne’s Haven is to offer a safe sanctuary and to provide tools for women residents who are survivors of human trafficking.
Singer-songwriter Tula, accompanied by guitarist TJ Hittle, bassist Bill Lovato and percussionist Sarah Green, performs a free concert at Poncha Springs Town Hall tomorrow night at 7pm. The free concert is meant to showcase a new sound system and acoustics.

The Salida Council for the Arts presents the Dog Days Art Show and Fido Fashion Show at Box of Bubbles tomorrow from 11am to 4pm.
Salida Sunrise Rotary presents the Lucky Ducky Race in Riverside Park Sunday beginning at 12:30pm. Creatively decorated ducks will once again race down the Arkansas River as spectators cheer them on. Booths from local nonprofits, kids’ games, giveaways, and duck races will be featured.
