The Salida City Council will hold a work session today beginning at 6 pm.
Council members will interview candidates for the Planning and Historic Preservation Commissions, will receive a proposed city Communications Plan from the consulting firm of Slate Communications, a Police Department 2019 Statistical review and will look at the results of a recent Compensation Survey.
The Salida City Council will hold a regular meeting tomorrow night beginning at 6 pm.
Council will hold a second reading and public hearing on an ordinance that would raise the minimum age to purchase or consume tobacco in Salida to 21.
The proposed ordinance would also prohibit the sale of any flavored tobacco products, including menthol, anywhere in the city.
