While Pagosa Springs and surrounding areas attempt to recover from historic flooding this week, the National Weather Service is continuing a Flood Warning until 4pm Wednesday for communities along the Conejos River and San Antonio River. The flood waters are caused by recent runoff from upstream rain and snowmelt. Areas that may be affected are, Manassa, Sanford, Antonito, Romeo, Alamosa East, Conejos and Ortiz.
Most evacuation orders have been lifted for Pagosa Springs, updates can be found here. Posts on Facebook are showing some open businesses and sunshine in Durango as recovery takes place.
Roads are still closed going into and out of Pagosa Springs. Check Cotrip.org before heading out.
