Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center (HRMCC) Orthopedic surgeons Dr. Steven Jones, D.O., and Dr. Ramon Perez, D.O., will now be performing total knee replacements via robotic-assisted surgery with the ROSA Knee system.
The ROSA Knee offers improved accuracy and implant positioning, raising the standard of knee care and allowing for faster recovery times compared to standard knee surgeries. According to recent reports, patients see earlier improvements in range of motion and function, as well as improved pain and function six-month post-surgery.
“We’re excited to standardize orthopedic knee care for our patients with the robotic assistance of the ROSA Knee,” said Dr. Perez.
HRRMC’s surgical and orthopedics teams went through rigorous training with the system, and will be performing their first ROSA Knee robotic-assisted surgeries on Monday, Oct. 26.
