Sean Payton was back at the helm calling plays, but many are calling the 23-17 win over the LA Chargers yesterday afternoon, “ugly” considering the missing starters the Chargers were dealing with and Bo Nix appearing “skittish” in the pocket.
Highlights included an early touchdown by J.K. Dobbins in the first quarter and a wayward pass from Justin Herbert going straight to Broncos safety, Brandon Jones for a key interception in the fourth quarter.
Broncos safety Talanoa Hufanga limped off the field in the second half with an ankle injury. He was spotted in a walking boot after Sunday’s win and has been reported saying he isn’t sure whether he’ll be ready for Thursday’s game against Seattle.
