Soulcraft Brewing in Salida is reporting that they have filed for Chapter 11 Subchapter V bankruptcy. They are sharing this news with a message to its customers on social media.
The brewery says that first and foremost; Soulcraft is open. They say they’re brewing beer, serving food, hosting music and events, and looking forward to seeing you in the taproom.
Soulcraft goes on to say, “After 10 years in business, we’ve weathered a lot of change—in our industry, in distribution, and in economics of running an independent brewery. We chose Chapter 11 Subchapter V to give Soulcraft the opportunity to reorganize, strengthen our operations, and build a more sustainable business for the years ahead. We’re using this moment to take a hard look at how we operate, make changes where they’re needed, and focus our energy on what matters most: making great beer and creating a place where people want to gather.”
