The Salida Fire Department invites the community to their Open House at 611 Oak Street this Saturday from 11am to 2pm at the Salida Fire Station.
This free and family-friendly event offers residents the opportunity to meet their local firefighters and learn about fire safety. The event features a free lunch, fire engine rides, raffle prizes and giveaways and hands-on activities for children and families.
The Open House also marks the official kickoff of Fire Prevention Week, a nationwide campaign dedicated to educating the public about fire safety and prevention.
