Chaffee County Public Health is partnering with Salida High School, Book Club Salida, and Family and Youth Initiatives on this semester’s Big Read Book Club featuring the, The Addiction Inoculation. A book discussion is happening October 16th at 9am at the Scout Hut in Salida with the author, Jessica Lahey.
The Addiction Inoculation is a comprehensive resource parents, teachers, coaches, students, and community members can use to prevent substance abuse in kids’ lives. Lahey provides evidence-based strategies and practical tools that are age-appropriate and actionable to help us raise kids who will grow up healthy, happy, and addiction-free.
