The Salida City Council will conduct a regular meeting tonight beginning at 6pm.
Under the consent agenda, Council will approve a Memorandum of Understanding with the Town of Buena Vista concerning mutual aid response. This understanding was initiated since Salida and BV no longer participate in a joint SWAT Team. Council will also enter a Memorandum of Understanding with Trellis Housing Partners LLC for the 1st and D Street Space to Create Affordable Workforce Housing project.
In unfinished business, council members will consider an ordinance amending the municipal code by adopting the 2021 International Energy Conservation Code requirements.
An Executive Session has also been scheduled to discuss the demolition of a dangerous building at 610 Walnut Street, legal parameters of the golf course lease, and to receive legal advice regarding the contract with Artspace.
