Forecast for Sept. 11th

Here’s your forecast from Heart of the Rockies Radio-

Dry and windy conditions continue to bring elevated fire danger to the area today.

Isolated to scattered showers will return for the weekend into early next week. Another influx of monsoonal moisture will bring a better chance of daily showers by the middle of next week.          

Salida and Buena Vista will see a high of 89.  A low of 51. 

The San Luis Valley can expect a high of 87, a low of 49.   

Leadville and Fairplay look for a high of 71 with a low of 39.
