The list of candidates for the Buena Vista municipal election is now official.
For Mayor: Thomas Brown, Devin Rowe and Carlin Walsh.
Running for the three open Trustee seats are: Jared Lane, Alexia McCarty, Feather Bokker, Tony LaGreca, Chris Strum, Stacie Tolleson and Jason Eaves. Paul Raymond originally filed an insufficient petition then withdrew from the race.
Ballot order will be determined tomorrow by random lot drawing at 10:30 a.m. at town hall to determine the order in which candidates will appear on the ballot. Mail ballots are scheduled to begin going out to active registered voters Oct. 12.
Please be sure your voter registration is updated to reflect your current address. Voters with a Colorado Driver’s License or ID card can register or update their information with the Chaffee County Clerk and Recorder at any time up to and including the day of the election. Please contact Chaffee County directly regarding their current registration procedures. You should also contact Chaffee County if you do not receive your county ballot or need a replacement ballot.
