Scammers are posing as Park County deputies and calling residents, claiming they have a warrant for their arrest for missing jury duty. The caller may appear to be calling from the Park County Sheriff’s Office phone number giving a fake deputy’s name and sometimes providing a badge number, claiming there is a warrant for your arrest.
The sheriff’s office reminds you that law enforcement will never call you and demand that you submit a payment to clear a warrant or avoid arrest.
