The City of Salida’s improvement project along West Highway 291/First Street, requires closure for paving operations.
First Street will be closed to through traffic between 3rd Street and M Street starting this Thursday morning. The closure is expected to remain in place until early September.
Local traffic to residences, businesses and parks within the closure will remain accessible. Pedestrians are advised to use the Monarch Spur Trail to avoid the work zone.
