Buena Vista High School has received a $5,000 Dan Daly Wrestling Grant to help launch the new girls wrestling program. The school will use the money to purchase female-specific uniforms and warm-ups, with additional support for travel expenses as the pilot program continues to grow. Established to honor the legacy of Dan Daly and his passion for the sport of wrestling, the annual grant supports Colorado public school wrestling programs with expenses that go beyond standard athletic budgets.

The Dan Daly Wrestling Grant is open to Colorado public high school wrestling programs and prioritizes projects that enhance opportunities for youth beyond standard program budgets. Preference is given to programs demonstrating financial need and proposing projects that directly benefit student-athletes.
