Local author Steve Chapman will host a book signing event tomorrow at the Salida Farmers Market.
Chapman will be available to visit with readers and sign copies of his History of Salida and Salida True Crime series.
Chapman, who is the founder of the Original Salida Walking Tours, focuses on preserving and interpreting the history, folklore, ghost stories and cultural heritage of Salida and the Arkansas Valley.
Since 2017, he has researched and documented the history of Salida, Colorado, producing books, articles, radio programs, podcasts, educational presentations, and guided tours focused on the people, events, crimes, architecture, folklore, and legends that shaped the community.
