Dr. Temple Grandin will be in Salida August 7th to share insights on livestock, education, trade skills, and the power of neurodiverse minds.
Dr. Grandin will kick off the day for a private event at Brew and Bloom, one of Achieve Inc. social enterprises providing job skills training for neurodiverse individuals.
She will then be joined by local agricultural leaders for lunch from 11:30 to 1:30. Registration is required to attend with limited seating. Please secure your admission in advance. There is no cost
In the afternoon, Dr. Grandin will speak at Salida High School from 2:30-4pm. Admission to this engagement is free to the community, but advance tickets are required due to limited afternoon seating.
The day concludes at the SteamPlant with an open community gathering, followed by a keynote address and screening of the award winning film Temple Grandin. This event is from 5:00 to 10:00 pm, tickets are required in advance.
