Today is the last recommended day for Colorado voters to mail back their primary election ballots.

Voters are selecting the candidates they would like to nominate for a variety of county, state, and federal offices that will appear on the general election ballot.

Unaffiliated voters receive both Republican and Democratic primary ballots. However, only one ballot may be returned. Returning both ballots will invalidate the vote.

Election Day is Tuesday, June 30, and all ballots must be received by the county clerk’s office no later than 7 p.m. on Election Day to be counted.

Voters who miss today’s recommended mailing deadline are encouraged to use an official ballot drop box or deliver their ballot directly to their county clerk’s office to ensure it arrives on time.
