The Buena Vista has joined Chaffee County in reinstating Stage 1 Fire Restrictions due to elevated fire danger in the area.
Town officials are urging residents and visitors to exercise extreme caution with any activity that could spark a wildfire, especially as dry conditions and fire weather concerns continue across the region.
At this time, federal lands, including the Pike National Forest and San Isabel National Forest, are not under fire restrictions.
