The Buena Vista Board of Education will meet tonight at 6:30 p.m.
One of the board’s key agenda items is the appointment of a new board member to fill a current vacancy. Two candidates have applied for the position: James Bearss and Joseph Teipel.
Following its public meeting, the board is expected to adjourn into executive session to discuss the employment contract of Superintendent Lisa Yates.
The meeting is open to the public, with the executive session conducted in accordance with Colorado’s open meetings laws.
