River conditions are beginning to rise, though flows remain relatively low, creating what guides describe as fun and technical rapids throughout the region.

Current river flows include:

  • Pine Creek Numbers — 233 cubic feet per second (CFS)
  • Browns Canyon — 305 CFS
  • Royal Gorge — 285 CFS

Meanwhile, the new The Beach restaurant is now open daily from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., with breakfast available Saturdays and Sundays beginning at 9 a.m.

River Runners says rafting and kayaking trips are operating daily through Labor Day, with reservations available online at whitewater.net.

Officials are reminding everyone heading out on the river to stay safe and be prepared for changing water conditions.
