The Salida Council for the Arts is reminding applicants that the deadline to apply for its Community Grants program is tomorrow.
Grants of up to $500 are available for individuals or groups seeking funding for locally focused, culturally based creative projects. The funding is intended for specific projects rather than ongoing operating expenses for artists or arts organizations.
While applicants do not need to reside in Salida, proposed projects must demonstrate a clear connection to and benefit for the Salida community.
