Robert McCormick Obituary
Robert Harold McCormick, age 78, of Salida, Colorado, died Wednesday, May 6, 2026 at the Conejos County Hospital in Colorado. He was born May 9, 1947 in Salida, CO to Harold and Evelyn McCormick. Robert lived in Salida, graduating from Salida High School in 1965. He served in the Army. Upon returning to Salida, he worked at Monarch Dairy. He then began working at the Mt. Shavano Division of Wildlife Fish Hatchery and ended his career there 33 years and 4 months later. He was active in the Masonic organization in Salida and served as secretary of his Lodge form many years. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his brother Bill (Vicki) McCormick, brother Ken McCormick and nephew Jared. Private services have been held. On line condolences may be sent to the family at lewisandglenn.com.
