Travelers may encounter delays along County Road 371 today and tomorrow as an engineering firm conducts annual testing on the Midland Tunnel structures.
The testing is required to evaluate the structural integrity of the surrounding rock and identify any potential safety concerns that may require mitigation work.
During testing, access through the tunnel portals will be limited, and delays of up to 30 minutes are possible.
Officials expect normal traffic flow to resume on Friday.
