The High Country Bank is hosting a Shred-a-thon at both its Salida and Buena Vista locations tomorrow. This event gives the community a safe way to dispose of old personal documents. Attendees can bring up to three copy-paper-size boxes or kitchen trash bags filled with papers to shred, along with a cash or nonperishable food donation benefiting the Arkansas Valley Mission or The Grainery. The event runs from 10 a.m. to noon at the Buena Vista branch on Highway 24 and from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Salida branch on Highway 50.
Veterans Expeditions is presenting the Fly Fishing Film Tour tomorrow evening at A Church from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. The event will feature several short films, along with local food, a raffle, and a silent auction. Tickets are available online at vetexpeditions.com.
The San Luis Valley Seed Exchange takes place tomorrow and Sunday at Joyful Journey Hot Springs starting at 10 a.m. each day.
