(Colorado Springs, CO, April 14, 2026) – Faricy Automotive, a family-owned, Colorado-based automotive dealership group serving Salida, Cañon City, and Colorado Springs for 80+ years, today announced it has added Peak Kia Colorado Springs to the Faricy group of dealerships and is evolving from The Faricy Boys brand to Faricy Automotive to honor the collective success of its team and its focus on long term growth.
The Faricy Boys Automotive on U.S. Highway 50 will become Faricy Automotive. As the “boys” hand more responsibility to the local leadership, they want the name to reflect the people who are putting in the work.
“The longevity and growth of Faricy Automotive is the result of the team’s collective effort, those who serve customers every day, beyond just our family as owners,” states Ben Faricy, President, Faricy Automotive. “The rebrand reflects the evolution of the company from an owner/operator-led company to an organization that is driven by 200 men and women serving our customers with integrity, loyalty and love. Faricy Automotive clearly articulates what we’ve known all along – our people are our superpower.”
The evolution of Faricy Automotive is also rooted in the growth the company has experienced over the last 15 years. Once a single location representing one manufacturer is now four locations offering eight unique brands throughout southern and central Colorado.
Owen Faricy Motor Company was founded in 1942 by Owen Faricy, Ben and Paul Faricy’s grandfather. In 1997, it became The Faricy Boys under the ownership of Owen’s sons Mike and Joe. As third generation owners, Ben and Paul carry on a legacy stretching nearly 85 years, and this marks the third iteration of the brand to Faricy Automotive.
Beyond the naming nomenclature for the overarching brand, dealerships and associated logos, owners say staff, customers and consumers will not be impacted.
“We have worked hard to balance the growth necessary to compete without losing the culture that has driven our success,” adds Faricy. “As we continue to see consolidation in the industry, we are committed to our roots and the values that keep our team loyal and our customers coming back. While we are large enough to compete with investments in technology, facilities and people, we are small enough to provide a very personalized, customizable experience to both our team and our customers.”
