Buena Vista Farmers Market to Return Under New Management After Foodshed Alliance Exit

The Foodshed Alliance has announced it will discontinue the Buena Vista Farmers Market following years of challenges.

In a statement released March 30, the organization said that despite experimenting with four different days and five locations over the past decade, the market struggled to gain consistent support and long-term sustainability.

However, the market will continue under new leadership. Buena Vista Heritage has announced plans to host a farmers market at Turner Farm on Sundays from May 31 through October 25.
