Local businesses are encouraged to take part in the “Pinwheels of Possibility” Window Decorating Contest in recognition of Child Abuse Awareness Month.
Hosted by Chaffee County DHS and Family and Youth Initiatives, the contest begins April 1 and invites businesses to decorate their storefronts with pinwheels and messages of hope supporting children and families.
The initiative aims to raise awareness while bringing the community together in a visible show of support for child safety and well-being.
Winners of the contest will be selected by youth judges, adding a meaningful and community-driven element to the event.
