Family and Youth Initiatives is offering a free “Nurturing Fathers” class series beginning Monday at the Poncha Springs Town Hall.
Classes will be held every Monday evening from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. through June 22, providing an opportunity for fathers and father figures to strengthen their parenting skills and relationships with their children.
The series will cover topics such as the power of nurturing, overcoming barriers to nurturing, as well as discipline and healthy relationship-building.
The program is free to attend and includes both dinner and childcare for participants.
