A jury has found Hanme Clark of Westcliffe guilty of killing three people in Custer County before fleeing the area and triggering a multi-state manhunt in November 2023.
Clark was convicted on three counts of first-degree murder, as well as charges of attempted murder, assault causing serious bodily injury, and menacing with a firearm.
Prosecutors said Clark shot and killed Rob Geers, Beth Geers, and James Daulton in connection with a long-running land dispute. Patty Daulton was injured during the shooting.
The defense has requested that Clarkâs sentencing take place today.
