The popular Good Pet/Bad Portrait fundraiser kicks off Friday in support of the Ark Valley Humane Society.
For a $25 donation, participants can submit a photo of their pet and receive a one-of-a-kind portrait in return. Each photo is randomly assigned to a volunteer artist, whose ages range from 5 years old and up — guaranteeing a unique and often humorous result.
Organizers say that regardless of the artistic outcome, every contribution directly supports homeless pets in the care of Ark Valley Humane Society.
