Author and former Colorado Department of Corrections inmate David Carrillo will speak tonight as part of Colorado Mountain College’s Collegiate Peaks Forum series.
Carrillo will discuss his book, “Kiko: From Life Without Parole to Life with Purpose,” which chronicles his journey from serving a life sentence to rebuilding his life with a renewed sense of purpose.
The event begins at 6 p.m. at the Salida High School Auditorium. Admission is free and open to the public.
