The Chaffee County Republican Central Committee (CCRCC) is proud to announce the
unanimous election of Tom McCracken as its new Chair during its January 2026 meeting.
McCracken, a dedicated conservative leader with deep roots in Chaffee County, steps into
the role following a vacancy, bringing a wealth of experience from his 2024 campaign for
County Commissioner and years of service to the community.
A Proven Leader Rooted in Local Values
McCracken’s most defining leadership experience stems from his 2024 campaign for
Chaffee County Commissioner, where he cultivated relationships by prioritizing listening to
the concerns of everyday citizens. His grassroots approach—centered on “kitchen table
issues” like economic freedom, property rights, and limited government—resonated deeply
with voters, earning him widespread trust.
His background as an educator and school administrator further honed his collaborative
and organizational skills. At the same time, his tenure in real estate sharpens his
understanding of the forces shaping public policy and community perception. McCracken
intends to leverage these experiences to unify and strengthen the CCRCC, ensuring the
party remains a steadfast advocate for conservative principles.
A Vision for Growth and Integrity
Drawing lessons from his campaign, McCracken aims to revitalize the CCRCC through:
● Enhanced Communication: Transparent, timely outreach to voters and stakeholders.
● Branding: Refining the party’s message to reflect Chaffee County’s values of liberty,
self-reliance, and constitutional governance.
● Grassroots Mobilization: Expanding “Get Out the Vote” efforts, recruitment, and
fundraising—all grounded in unwavering integritty.
“Chaffee County is my home, and this role is an opportunity to serve the people who’ve
shaped my life,” said McCracken. “I’m committed to ensuring our party fights for the
conservative values that keep our community strong.”
Upcoming Priorities
McCracken will lead the CCRCC through critical 2026 milestones, including:
● Spring time Caucus and Assemblies: Mobilizing conservative voices at the local
level.
● Lincoln Day Dinner: Celebrating Republican ideals and fostering unity.
● November Elections: Electing principled conservatives to office at all levels.
