The Chaffee County Sheriff’s Office is now accepting applications for a $500 scholarship aimed at supporting local students pursuing post-secondary education.
The scholarship will be awarded to one student who plans to attend a vocational training program or an institution of higher learning within the state of Colorado.
Applications are available through school counselor offices or can be picked up in person at the Chaffee County Sheriff’s Office. Completed applications must be returned to the sheriff’s office by 5:00 p.m. on February 26.
Students interested in furthering their education are encouraged to apply before the deadline.
