The Salida Elks Lodge is seeking donations for its annual Christmas Basket Program, and today is the deadline to contribute.
The lodge is accepting non-perishable food items, toys, and tax-deductible monetary donations, which will be used to purchase additional needed items for local families.
Donations may be dropped off at the Salida Elks Lodge, located at 148 East 2nd Street.
Lodge members will distribute the Christmas baskets on December 19 and 20, helping ensure families in the community have a brighter holiday season.
