In Salida & Buena Vista, Sunny skies are expected, with a high near 45. Winds around 15 mph. Then back down to a low around 18 overnight.
In The San Luis Valley: We will see Sunny skies, with a high near 38. Then back down to an overnight low near 15 tonight.
In Leadville & Fairplay: A 20 percent chance of snow showers before 9am. Mostly sunny, with a high near 28. Tonight we will see a low around 9 with snow showers expected.
Looking ahead to the rest of the weekend: Another round of snow and gusty winds are expected Sunday evening through Monday morning, which will be greater in coverage but lower end totals. Wind Gusts may cause blowing snow and hazardous travel, especially through mountain passes.
