A road rage incident Tuesday night near Leadville turned deadly when a driver was shot and killed.
The Colorado Bureau of Investigation reports that 31-year-old Robert Chase of Leadville was arrested on suspicion of second-degree murder after allegedly shooting 40-year-old Landon Mentink, also of Leadville, during a confrontation on Highway 24.
Chase is being held at the Lake County Detention Center on a $100,000 bond.
