The City of Salida is proud to announce that it has been officially certified as a Bronze Member of the Colorado Green Business Network (CGBN), a program of the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE). This recognition honors organizations across the state that demonstrate a strong commitment to sustainability by integrating environmentally responsible practices into their daily operations.
The CGBN is a free and voluntary program that encourages, supports, and rewards businesses and organizations that strive toward greater operational sustainability. Members are recognized at Bronze, Silver, or Gold levels based on their achievements in areas such as energy efficiency, waste reduction, water conservation, and sustainable transportation.
The City of Salida earned Bronze-level certification by implementing a variety of sustainability-focused initiatives like our Climate Action Plan and Energy Action Plan. This recognition also reflects the city’s broader commitment to advancing environmental stewardship and supporting a healthier, more resilient community.
