Chaffee County Commissioners are moving forward with the “glitch bill” amendment process—an effort to address errors, discrepancies, and technical issues in the newly adopted Land Use Code and Zoning Map.

Beginning today, a draft of the proposed amendments is available for public review. Residents can view all amendment-related documents and maps on the County website at chaffeecounty.org, under the Planning Department’s Land Use Code page.

The Planning and Zoning Department is leading the review process. County Commissioners and the Planning Commission will hold work sessions on the proposed amendments starting August 5th. Two public hearings are scheduled for September 2nd and 9th to gather community input.

This process gives residents a key opportunity to help shape refinements to local land use policy.
