Motion Exchange Dance was created to enhance the artistic community in Buena Vista, and inspire people of all ages not just to move their bodies. “Also to teach and learn from others through motion and artistic expression.”
The recitals will be on Saturday, May 3rd at 2PM and 6PM, tickets are $12 at the door and part of the funds go to the All Kids Should Dance Scholarship fund.
In the words of Amy Weisenhorn, founder and dance teacher,
“The All Kids Should Dance scholarship fund was created to aid in covering the costs of tuition and costumes for students at Motion Exchange. It was created by an anonymous donor in 2023. We have calculated approximately $1800 in donations since our first month.
Families who may benefit from the extra financial assistance are encouraged to fill out an application at the beginning of each season.”
Attendees are welcome to make individual and anonymous donations.
