A routine traffic stop on Highway 24 near Buena Vista led to the arrest of a 20-year-old Fairplay man on multiple drug charges. According to the Chaffee County Sheriff’s Office, Deputy Ryland Geske pulled over a vehicle driven by Clarence Armando Home Gun this past weekend.
Home Gun was taken into custody for suspicion of driving under the influence. A search of his vehicle uncovered a large quantity of illegal substances, including over 21 grams of marijuana, 30 grams of suspected psilocybin mushrooms, 5 grams of cocaine, 4 grams of brown heroin, and 7 grams of suspected black tar heroin.
He was booked into the Chaffee County Detention Center on charges including DUI, possession of drug paraphernalia, open container, and unlawful distribution of drugs. Bond was set at $5,000.
