Monarch Mountain is extending its 2024-25 ski season by one extra week, with closing day now set for Sunday, April 13, 2025. After receiving nearly 20” of snow in the last week, the independent ski area will keep the lifts spinning for skiers and riders eager to squeeze in more days on the mountain.

“This season has delivered incredible snow, and the conditions are just too good to call it quits,” said Christopher Haggerty, General Manager of Monarch Mountain. “We’re thrilled to give our passholders and guests an extra week to enjoy what makes Monarch special—unspoiled terrain, minimal lift lines, and plenty of fresh turns.”

This extension is an added benefit for Wings Pass holders, who can continue skiing through April 13th. The Wings Pass, now on sale, provides skiing for the rest of this season and all of next season—making it the best deal for those looking to lock in more powder days.

Events in April will include Monarch’s inaugural Ski Ballet on Freeway on April 5th, 2025. Registration to compete in the recreational event is live at khen.org. The Gunbarrel Challenge will take place on April 13, 2025.
