Chaffee County, CO (March 7, 2025) – Monarch Mountain is thrilled to announce its new
partnership with the Chaffee County Community Foundation (CCCF), enhancing its support for
the local community through the Monarch Mountain Community Outreach Donor-Advised Fund.
Since its inception in 2004 by a dedicated group of Monarch Mountain owners and its
employees, Monarch Mountain Community Outreach, a non-profit branch of Monarch Mountain,
has contributed over $400,000 to charitable organizations in and around Chaffee County.
Through this new partnership, Monarch Mountain Community Outreach will provide expanded
opportunities for charitable organizations, and for donors. Monarch Mountain will contribute
annually to the Monarch Mountain Community Outreach Fund, as will employees through
payroll contributions, and other fundraising efforts.
Starting in March 2025, the Monarch Mountain Community Outreach Fund will offer both
charitable grants and matched donation contributions. Local nonprofit organizations may apply
for assistance through CCCF’s grant application process. Monarch employees and Monarch
season pass holders will have the opportunity to contribute directly to their favorite local
organizations, with their donations matched 100% by the fund.

offering both a grant process and matched contribution program, we feel all of our community
programs will be better served.”
