Salida’s annual Parade of Lights will illuminate F Street this Friday, starting at 6 p.m. This year’s theme, Gingerbread Village, promises festive fun for attendees.
Following the parade, Christmas Mountain and Holiday Park will light up in a dazzling display, accompanied by a fireworks show. Visitors can also meet Santa Claus at the Riverside Park Amphitheater.
To ensure safety during the event, the Salida Fire Department has announced that Spiral Drive on Tenderfoot Mountain will be closed to all traffic—including bikes and pedestrians—on Friday. Additionally, biking trails intersecting Spiral Drive will also be off-limits.
Residents sensitive to loud noises and pet owners are encouraged to prepare for the fireworks display.
