A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect until 6pm tonight.
Snow will continue through the day before tapering off tonight. Snow totals will range from up to 16 inches across the Sangre de Cristo and Wet Mountains as well as the Wet Mountain Valley. Up to a foot will be possible across the Sawatch Range. Another 5 to 8 inches of new snow will be possible across the lower elevations.
More storm impacts may be possible tomorrow through Saturday although uncertainty exists on the track of the system.
Salida and Buena Vista will see a windy high of 33. A low of 11.
The San Luis Valley can expect a high of 29, a low of 9.
Leadville and Fairplay look for a high of 23 with a low of 1.
