The Salida Police Department issued a press release over the weekend regarding an adult involved in an inappropriate relationship with a juvenile. Nicholas Engelhart, 31, was arrested on charges including contributing to the delinquency of a minor (a misdemeanor), as well as attempted sexual assault, criminal attempt, and sexual assault (all felonies). Engelhart is currently being held in the Chaffee County Detention Center on a $50,000 cash-only bond.
