$2,500 Reward Offered After Porta-Potties Set on Fire at Park County Fairgrounds
A month after a suspected arson at the Park County Fairgrounds, the Park County Sheriff’s Office is offering a $2,500 reward for information leading to the arrest of those responsible. On August 6th, one or more arsonists deliberately set fire to multiple portable restrooms at the fairgrounds, causing significant damage.
The blaze destroyed several porta-potties along with a nearby storage container and its contents, resulting in damage estimated to be worth several thousand dollars. Despite the extensive damage, no arrests have been made so far.
The Park County Sheriff’s Office is urging anyone with information about the crime to come forward and assist in identifying the suspects.
