- Salida: Mo’Champipple and the Meso Horns will be playing a free show as part of the Summer Concert Series in Riverside Park from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.
- Poncha Springs: The Poncha Springs Church of Christ is hosting a free Picnic in the Park at Chipeta Park, offering hot dogs and burgers from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Looking Ahead: While it’s still summer, five Colorado ski resorts have announced their tentative opening dates, weather permitting:
- Keystone: Mid-October
- Breckenridge: November 8th
- Vail Mountain: November 15th
- Beaver Creek: November 27th
- Crested Butte: November 27th
