State Steps Up to Support Teachers with $2.7 Million for School Supplies

Many teachers often find themselves paying out of pocket for classroom supplies, which can take a toll on their personal budgets. To alleviate this burden, Governor Jared Polis has announced a $2.7 million investment to fund classroom materials for teachers across the state.

This funding, which amounts to $600 per teacher, is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Teachers can apply for these funds through donorschoose.org. The money comes from the Emergency Education Relief Fund, which last year provided assistance to over 7,300 teachers.
