The intersection of West Main and Rodeo Road in Buena Vista will be closed today as contractors work to remove a hazardous cottonwood tree between Rodeo Road Trail and private property to the south.
The detour will route drivers north of Rodeo Road, south on Raymond Lee Drive, east on Connie Drive and south on Rodeo Road. The Parks Department is supervising the tree removal and will be on site to direct traffic.
