A petition to implement a new Bustang route from Colorado Springs to Buena Vista and Salida has been submitted. The petition was created on December 22nd with a goal of getting 1,000 signatures.
The petition was created by Adrienne Schwartz of Colorado Springs, who hopes to alert the Colorado Department of Transportation to the need for public transportation between the Springs and Chaffee County.
The petition has been submitted to CDOT, the Colorado Springs City Council, and Bustang.
